Construction SMPP Guinea
Phase II of the Tri-K project aims to improve the performance of the existing CIL plant by adding key equipment: a pebble crusher, a pulp thickener, an additional CIL tank, and an extension of the detoxification unit. An upgrade of the oxygen line is also planned.

Boto Mining Operation – Senegal
The Boto Project is located in eastern Senegal, near the borders of Mali and Guinea, approximately 88 km from the city of Kédougou. The mine lies within the Senegal-Mali Shear Zone, a 5 km-wide and roughly 200 km-long corridor that hosts several world-class deposits, including Loulo and Fekola, which are currently in production.
MCI Senegal is responsible for the following work:
- Construction of mine infrastructure (TSF/Earthwork, ore processing)
- Construction of the freshwater pond (FWP)
- Construction of the surface water management system (SWP)
Additionally, MCI is in charge of operating two deposits and conducting blasting operations for preparatory work.

Infrastructure works for the oil refinery - Guinea
The Brahms Refinery is a modular refinery designed to process a wide variety of crude oil. It has a capacity of 12,000 barrels of crude oil per day, with storage for 38,000 m³ of crude and 151,700 m³ of refined products.
The scope of work includes:
- Site preparation, including the creation of access roads and a camp base
- Construction of an oil terminal over 200 meters long, capable of accommodating 25,000-ton vessels
- Earthworks
- Foundation works for the future refinery

Tailing Storage Facility (TSF) - Guinée
This project involves the construction of the second phase of the Tailing Storage Facility (TSF) at the TRI-K site in Guinea.
The scope of work includes:
- Moving over 2 million m³ of earth for the construction of the dam
- Supply and installation of geomembrane
- Installation of a decanting system consisting of a concrete-encased penstock pipe and an energy dissipator
- Construction of associated infrastructure, including stormwater diversion, trenches, toe drains, HDPE piping, silt traps, energy dissipators, and more

Mining Operations - Guinea
As part of its capacity expansion, MCI has been in charge of mining operations at the TRI-K mine since 2023.
The scope of work includes:
- Moving over 17 million tons of ore per year
- Stockpiling waste material
- Transporting ore to the processing plant
- Drilling and blasting operations
